This policy covers this website only — what happens to information you type into the tour request form, and what this site loads from other companies while you read it. It does not cover the records we keep about enrolled children and their families, which are handled under our enrollment paperwork and Illinois licensing requirements.
There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for. We collect information in one place: the Request a tour form. It asks for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, your child’s age, when you are hoping to start, and anything else you want to tell us.
We use that information to contact you about a tour and to answer your question. That is all. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
When you submit the form, it is delivered as ordinary email into the Little Knights inbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace. No separate email or marketing company handles it, and it is never used to build a mailing list. Your email address is set as the reply address so we can write back to you directly.
Tour requests arrive as ordinary email and are kept in that inbox. If you would like us to delete a request you sent, call 618-208-0426 or email Sknight@KnightsDaycare.com and we will remove it.
After you send a tour request we take you to our booking calendar so you can pick a time yourself rather than waiting for us to call. That page is Google Appointment Scheduling, run by Google, and whatever you enter there — your name, email and the time you choose — is handled by Google under their privacy policy as well as ours. You do not have to use it; you are welcome to call us instead and we will book the tour over the phone.
Two things on this page come from somewhere other than our own server, and both can see your IP address when they load:
Everything else — the fonts, the images, the video — is served from this site directly. We deliberately do not load fonts or scripts from third parties.
This website is written for parents and guardians. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 through it. The form asks for a child’s age so we know which classroom to talk to you about — please do not send a child’s name, date of birth, or medical details through the website. Those belong in the enrollment paperwork, not in a web form.
The application form asks for your name, email, phone, the position you want, your availability, your experience with children, your education and certifications, and how you heard about us. It reaches us the same way a tour request does, and your email address is set as the reply address.
We deliberately do not ask for a date of birth, a Social Security number, a driver’s license number, criminal history, or your references’ contact details through this website. Illinois restricts some of those on an initial application, and none of them belong in an email. If we take your application further, that paperwork happens directly with us.
Applications are kept while we are considering them and while a position may open. To have yours removed, call or email us.
If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
